Heavy rainfall closes roads in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Ongoing rainfall on Tuesday led to the closure of some key roads in Tanzania’s commercial capital, Dar es Salaam, with many people being forced to stay at home. Local media report government authorities have urged users, especially motor vehicle drivers, to be more cautious and to stay home or seek services in nearby areas, unless they have urgent business in distant areas.
