Health report: treating prostate cancer
Prostate cancer is a devastating diagnosis faced by millions of men worldwide. New analysis by the Lancet Commission suggests that annual prostate cancer cases are estimated to double by 2040. VOA’s Linord Moudou spoke to Bello Abubakar Mohammed, the chief consultant for Clinical and Radiation Oncologist at the National Hospital Abuja, Nigeria, on the prevalence of prostate cancer in Africa and what’s being done to address the rising cases.
