Rights Activists Rally in Washington on One Year Anniversary of Sudan’s Conflict Human rights groups staged a rally Monday in Washington to demand action one year into the conflict in Sudan. Dr. Huzaifa Salim, assistant secretary general of the Sudanese American Physicians Association, tells VOA’s Carol Van Dam the Sudanese war is one of the worst humanitarian crises of the past decade.
