The annual Billboard's Women in Music event recognizes music's rising female artists, creators, producers and executives for their contributions to the music industry. This year’s honorees are nine artists from across the globe and represent a range of genres. They include Australian singer Kylie Minogue, New York rapper Ice Spice, and Nigerian Afrobeats singer TEMS, who is this year's Billboard Women in Music Breakthrough Artist Honoree. Singer Rayes was the big winner at the BRITS awards—Britain's Biggest music event, recently held at the 02 Arena in London. Burna Boy and Asake were nominated for the Best International Artist award which went to R&B singer SZA, while Libianca, Tyla and Rema were also nominated for the International Song of the Year but lost out to American singer Miley Cyrus.
