Elections in Africa Not Off to Good Start
2024 will be a busy year for elections in Africa, with nearly 20 countries slated to hold presidential or general elections. But as VOA's Nairobi Bureau Chief Mariama Diallo reports, the democratic process is not off to a good start, as two countries have already postponed elections, and another has reelected a former military ruler for the fourth time.
