Israel Rejects Genocide Allegations at Top UN Court
At the International Court of Justice, Israel defended itself against South Africa’s allegations that it has committed genocide in Gaza. The top U.N. court is expected to rule on potential emergency measures related to Israel’s military actions later this month, but a ruling on the claim of genocide could take years. VOA's Paul Ndiho spoke to Yasmine Ahmed, the U.K.’s Human Rights Watch director, via Skype for analysis of Israel’s legal argument presented at the ICJ.
