Zambia Postpones School Opening After Cholera Outbreak
Zambia postponed the opening of schools from Monday to January 29 due to a cholera outbreak. Zambia’s health ministry reports over 4,000 cholera cases and about 150 deaths since October 2023. Information Minister Cornelius Mweetwa tells VOA's James Butty the government has also been educating the public about how to prevent the spread of cholera.
