Delegates at COP28, the annual U.N. climate conference, have approved a fund to assist developing nations in dealing with the damaging effects of climate change. This fund aims to aid countries, particularly in Africa, disproportionately affected by climate-related disasters such as floods, droughts, and rising sea levels. VOA's Paul Ndiho spoke to Frank Tumusiime, a Ugandan environmental analyst and founder of Advocates for Natural Resources and Development, about COP28’s impact on an oil producing and developing country like Uganda.
