Rights Organization Releases Report Detailing Sudanese War Atrocities
Human Rights Watch, in their latest findings, says the Rapid Support Forces, RSF, in their ongoing conflict with the Sudanese army, killed hundreds of civilians in West Darfur in early November 2023. HRW says the paramilitary along with other militias are also accused of looting, assaulting, and unlawfully detaining scores of members of the predominantly Massalit community in Ardamata, a suburb of West Darfur’s capital. El Geneina. For an analysis into these findings, VOA’s Esther Githui-Ewart spoke to Laetitia Bader, Horn of Africa director for Human Rights Watch.
