Liberia’s GDM Party Gives Conditions For Endorsement

In Liberia, the candidate who shocked the nation to win third place in the country’s October 10 presidential elections says his party will soon announce its participation in the November 14 runoff election between President George Weah and former Vice President Joseph Boakai. But Edward Appleton of the Grassroots Development Movement party says any endorsement will be based on the values of his party and in the interest of Liberia. He tells VOA’s James Butty, his campaign for change resonated with ordinary Liberians.
