US Islamic Group: Only Way to Stop War - End Occupation

The Israeli defense minister on Monday has ordered a “complete siege” of the Gaza strip and a cutoff of water supplies, food and electricity two days after Hamas militants attacked Israel. Thousands of civilians in both Israel and Gaza have borne the brunt of the escalating conflict. “Under international humanitarian law all sides in a conflict have a clear obligation to protect the lives of civilians caught up in the hostilities,” said Agnès Callamard, Amnesty International’s secretary general.
