Science in a Minute: Curiosity Rover Finally Reaches an Elusive Destination
According to NASA, for the last three years, the Mars Curiosity Rover has been trying to reach Gediz Vallis Ridge on Mount Sharp. The space agency reports that rover finally reached this elusive destination on August 14th. Scientists are interested in Gediz Vallis Ridge because it contains what is described as powerful debris flow, remnants left from when water flowed through this area about 3 billion years ago.
