Zimbabwe’s Opposition Decries Election Intimidation
The presidential candidate for Zimbabwe’s main opposition Citizens Coalition for Change, Nelson Chamisa, Wednesday addressed media after casting his ballot in the southern African nation’s 2023 general elections. After voting, Chamisa told reporters that state security agents and village heads are intimidating opposition supporters and candidates — issues his party will raise with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission.
