Niger Military Ruler: We Don't Want to 'Confiscate Power'
Niger's junta leader Gen. Abdourahamane Tchiani said over the weekend a transition of power would not go beyond three years, and warned that any attack on the country "will not be the walk in the park some people seem to think." "I reaffirm here that our ambition is not to confiscate power," said Tchiani in a televised address Saturday.
