A defunct European Space Agency satellite is falling from its orbit. Rather than let debris from the spacecraft fall in a populated area, ESA is performing an assisted re-entry to steer it to a remote area of the Atlantic Ocean. Rick Pantaleo has more in today’s Science in a Minute.
