UNAIDS Reports Possible Ending to HIV/AIDS
The Joint United Nations Program on HIV and AIDS, UNAIDS, released the report "The Path that Ends AIDS" last week, which shows that ending HIV/AIDS is possible by 2030. The report contains data and case studies which highlight a path for how the world can achieve an AIDS-free generation. However, observers say ending HIV/AIDS requires significant political will and a sustained financial investment in children, youth, and families.
