Africa 54: At Least 17 Die From Africa's Gas Leak, Sub-Saharan Migrants Targeted In Tunisia
At least 17 people have died in an informal settlement Gauteng Province east of Johannesburg after being poisoned in a gas leak. The victims included a one-year-old child. Racial tensions have flared into targeted violence against Sub-Saharan African migrants in Tunisia. Hundred are now trying to flee the coastal city Sfax. And U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken says a multinational force is needed to help Haiti's National Police echoing a recent appeal made by U.N. officials who warn that the country's insecurity is worsening.
