Nigeria Warns Possible Anthrax Outbreak
Nigerian authorities are calling on herders in the West African nation to inoculate their cows while urging citizens to reduce consumption of cooked animal hides, a delicacy known as “pomo,” in reaction to an anthrax outbreak in Ghana.
