Analysis: Finalizing Sierra Leone Election Results
Vote counting is ongoing where some 3 million people were registered to vote in Saturday’s general elections in Sierra Leone. As of Monday night, incumbent Julius Maada Bio was leading with 60% of the vote, in a pool of presidential candidates including opposition leader Samura Kamara of the All People's Congress. Voters also cast their ballots for parliament and local council seats.
