Financial Experts Call on Africa to Promote SME’s
Financial experts are calling on African governments to boost their investments in Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) as a response to findings released by international groups such as the London Africa Advisory Group and the World Bank. Reports issues by the monetary groups show small companies account for over 90% of Africa’s businesses and create between 60-80% of jobs - while contributing over 40% to the continent’s Gross Domestic Product.
