UN: One Million to Flee Sudan War by October
The United Nations announced that it expects close to a million Sudanese to flee war into neighboring nations such as Central African Republic, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, and South Sudan, adding that most of these nations are already hosts to Internally Displaced People (IDP), who face food insecurity and instability. VOA’s Henry Wilkins went to a refugee camp in Borota, Chad where he produced this report documenting some of the challenges faced by Sudanese refugees.
