Africa News Tonight: Workneh Gebeyehu, the Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), is urging Sudan’s warring factions to cease hostilities and resolve the situation through dialogue. The UN refugee agency reports the number of people who have been forcibly displaced by war, persecution, human rights abuses and climate change reached an all-time high of 108.4 million last year. And, others have tried and failed, and now six African leaders are heading to Moscow and Kyiv in the coming days to try to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
