On Music Time in Africa: Heather Maxwell curates a playlist of music that’s been sung, written, rapped, and produced by 16 of the best, living female artists on the continent. She also plays several interviews with some of Africa’s brightest female stars from the Music Time in Africa archives dating back to 2012 such as Oumou Sangare (Mali), Nomcebo Zikode (South Africa) and Sona Jobarteh (Gambia).
