Senegal, Morocco Gear Up for U-17 Final in Algeria
Senegal's football team will take on Morocco in the final of the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations, U-17 AFCON, in Algeria This is the first time both teams progressed to the finale of the African competition. Just months after their senior team won the Africa Nations Championship, or CHAN, the Senegalese juniors have a chance to make history as well. U-17 AFCON is a biennial football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football, or CAF, for national teams consisting of players under the age of 17. The tournament serves as the qualifying competition for the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
