Sierra Leone's President Julius Maada Bio expressed his hopes that the newly-announced African peace proposal would end Russia's war in Ukraine. "Let's end the war," he said, during an interview with the French news Agency, AFP. Commenting on the impact of the war on his country, Bio said: "I don't believe in aid, I believe that we can do enough to develop our own resources."
