Sudan’s army and rival Rapid Support Forces accused each other Sunday of violating a shaky ceasefire as the conflict enters its third week. This, as the UN Secretary General expressed concern about the impact of a long-term conflict on the people of Sudan and the broader region. Dr Mohamed Haroon, a professor of psychology at the University of Khartoum, tells Daybreak Africa host James Butty fighting appears to have slowed down as the national army gained control of parts of the capital, Khartoum.
