Africa 54: US Blames All Sides in Tigray Conflict, Ethiopia Denies Responsibility & More
The United States has determined that all sides committed war crimes during the conflict in northern Ethiopia that killed tens of thousands of people, left hundreds of thousands facing hunger and displaced millions, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Monday. In response, Ethiopia's government on Tuesday accused the U.S. of unfairly apportioning blame for crimes committed during the two-year Tigrayan conflict.
