‘INEC’s Chairman Must Step Down, Redo Feb 25’: Nigeria’s L.P
Senior members of Nigeria’s opposition Labor Party (L.P) that is led by Peter Obi who finished third in last Saturday’s presidential race, are calling on President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene on the declaration of ruling All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Tinubu as president-elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), following rigging allegations. The L.P is also calling for INEC’s chairperson Mahmood Yakubu to step down from his post and for the West African nation to redo its recent elections.
