US-Based Coalition Seeks Temporary Protected Status for Nigeria
A coalition of more than 100 Nigerian leaders and organizations are urging U.S. President Joe Biden's administration to grant Nigeria Temporary Protected Status (TPS) citing civil unrest in the country. VOA's Kahli Abdu spoke with members of the coalition Gbenga Ogunjimi, founder and CEO of the Nigerian Center, and Lara Okunubi, CEO of the Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC) USA, about their initiative.
