Sudan's Crumbling Economy Needs Political Solution: Report [3:32]

A report by Sudan Transparency and Policy Tracker says there’s an urgent need for a political solution to Sudan’s deteriorating economy. It says the October 2021 military coup has had a “catastrophic” impact on the country’s economy and that a new civilian government — once established — will have to carry out economic reforms and address many other challenges. Suliman Baldo, director of the group, spoke with Nabeel Biajo about their new report.
