Nigeria Presidential Candidate Denies Endorsement, Promises Win
A Nigeria presidential candidate of the opposition Action Alliance has sharply denied reports that the party has endorsed former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for the presidential election. Hamza al-Mustapha says, referencing reports of an opposition coalition endorsing Abubakar, it was embarrassing and regrettable for some members of his party to undermine the group's electoral prospects days before contest. Al-Mustapha is running against 17 other presidential candidates. VOA's Peter Clottey spoke to al-Mustapha who outlined his vision for Nigeria and his promise to win the election.
