Extended Interview: Sierra Leone President Talks U.S. Relations & More
Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio recently met with U.S. President Joe Biden at the White House which he described as constructive and “a productive reset of relations between Washington and Africa.” In an exclusive interview with VOA’s Peter Clottey, the West African leader highlights how relations with U.S. will benefit his country and discusses other issues such as women empowerment and violent protests that broke out amid the elections in June.
