Russia Releases U.S. Basketball Star
U.S. President Joe Biden Thursday said WNBA basketball star Brittney Griner has been released from prison by Russian authorities in what U.S. authorities described as “an extraordinary prison swap.” Addressing the media, Biden said, “the past few months have been hell for Brittney,” and none the less added that she is in good spirits.
