“Blessers” Raise South Africa’s HIV Infections
South African health authorities say the southern African nation has the world’s largest HIV population and worsened under the COVID-19 pandemic which witnessed girls and young women engaging in risky sexual behavior and transactional sex with “Blessers” as a means of making a living.
