Rwanda Uses Comics, Anime to Boost Child Literacy
Rwandan animators responsible for creating comic books and games say they will be using their skills to create animations that will boost child literacy in the East African nation, a development that is happening amid reports by the United Nations that says only 35 percent of African students have minimum competency in reading and 22 percent in mathematics by the end of primary school.
