Ghana President Warns Sahel Region Under Threat
Ghana's President Nana Akufo-Addo on Tuesday warned that West Africa's Sahel region is under threat of being engulfed by a rampant Islamist insurgency. Akufo-Addo said the terrorist groups, emboldened by their apparent success in the region, are seeking new operational ground.
