About Migrant Workers Who Died Building the World Cup; VOA Reports
Right groups and media reported abuses right after Qatar was awarded the 2022 World Cup in 2010. Human abuses were committed against migrants helped build World Cup-related facilities. Many migrants lost their lives during this process and most of them were in a healthy condition. VOA reports on the families of some of the thousands of migrant workers who died building World Cup-related facilities over the past decade. VOA’s Heather Murdock has more from Dhanusha, Nepal.
