Coming up on Africa News Tonight: South Africa has used the COP27 climate summit being held in Egypt to secure hundreds of millions of dollars in funding to finance renewable energy projects amid growing concerns of lack of transparency around the financing of the energy transition in the southern African nation. The U.S. government Monday announced a reward of up to $10 million for information that will aid in the search of three Somali leaders of terrorist al-Shabab group who are wanted for attacks that led to the death of thousands of people in East Africa.
