Sierra Leone’s first lady, Madam Fatma Maada Bio, who is popular for her stance against gender-based violence, supports the U.N. efforts to adopt November 18th as a day to commemorate survivors of gender-based violence. For more on the UN resolution, VOA’s Peter Clottey sat down with the first lady.
