Host Carol Castiel speaks with leading Angola experts Alex Vines, director of the Africa Program at the London-based Chatham House, and Marissa Moorman, professor of African Cultural Studies at the University of Wisconsin, about the results and implications of the closely fought general elections in Angola in which the ruling MPLA was declared the winner, but in which the opposition UNITA party doubled its number of seats in parliament. Nonetheless, UNITA is contesting the vote count, which is contends should have yielded even more seats for them in the National Assembly.
