VOA Our Voices 422: Displaced by Ethiopia's Tigray Conflict
After nearly two years, the Tigray conflict in Ethiopia’s northern Afar region has affected more than 6 million people, with 2.2 million displaced. Women are bearing the brunt of the crisis. On the next edition of Our Voices, we will examine what is being done for the millions of people who are displaced in Ethiopia and want to return to their villages, homes and lives! We’ll also speak to Mamadou Dian Balde, the UNHCR Representative in Ethiopia, on what the refugee agency is doing to help those in need in the region.
