Dubbed ‘Amazon of Africa,’ Online Marketplace Jumia Releases First Sustainability Report
Jumia, a Lagos-based online marketplace company dubbed the “Amazon of Africa,” operates in eleven African countries. Over the years, Jumia has grown exponentially, now employing over 4,000 employees. Africa 54’s Paul Ndiho spoke to Juliet Anammah, Jumia’s chief sustainability officer, about the company’s first Environmental Social Governance Report released early Wednesday.
