HRW Records Surge in Killings of Civilians in Mali

A Human Rights Watch report finds the Malian army and jihadists allegedly killed at least 107 civilians in central and southwestern Mali since December 2021. For Africa News Tonight, Carol Van Dam spoke to HRW’s Sahel director Corinne Dufka who said actions against civilians may include war crimes.
