AFP reported on Thursday that Ethiopia outlined conditions for possible talks with rebels from the country's war-hit Tigray region. This, after earlier this week, Ethiopian security forces detained hundreds of ethnic Tigrayans in a crackdown on suspected supporters of the rebel Tigray People's Liberation Front. The roundup was internationally condemned.
