October is a very important month for millions of Africans across the continent. From Nigeria to Uganda, to Guinea to Zambia, October is the month in which these countries gained their hard fought independence from their former colonial masters. But as they mark a little over six decades since the end to colonial rule, many are starting to question the concept of Independence.
