Despite a second wave of the coronavirus looming, primary and secondary schools are reopening across Africa. On this edition of VOA Our Voices, we’ll examine whether the timing is right for students and teachers to return to the classroom. We’ll take a closer look at the challenges surrounding access to distance learning and question if proper safety measures are in place to reopen the schools. Also, we'll shine a light on alternative schools for girls, who are the hardest hit by school closures due to the pandemic.
