On the next edition of #VOAOurVoices, we take a look at COVID-19 testing, tracing and the race to develop a vaccine. Many doctors are now regularly testing patients to see if they have the coronavirus and if confirmed, health officials might try to trace other people the patient may have come in contact with. And while all of this is going on, scientists worldwide are working on a Covid-19 vaccine. But what is at stake for Africans? And how do long-standing stigmas about diseases and vaccines impact how we see the ongoing work to create a cure for the coronavirus.
