Georgia State University Scientists Employ Unique New Approach In Efforts to Develop Ebola Vaccine
Today we’ll feature a couple of stories regarding the deadly Ebola outbreak in West Africa; what's being done to end this scourge and help those already infected with the virus. The medical and science communities are ramping up efforts to develop and produce vaccines and treatments. We'll talk with a scientist who with his colleagues is taking a unique new approach in coming up with a new Ebola vaccine. And… This past Wednesday, a U.S.-based company launched the first commercial observation satellite that will provide us with much higher definition images of Earth than before. We've been hearing about the health benefits that chocolate provides. Today, we'll have a report on the kind of chocolate that will provide most of its advantages, without the health-related problems that sugar-sweetened chocolate can cause. We’ll hear about a new book that discusses the oceans and human’s relationship with them.
