The recent reappearance of former South Sudanese refugee Morris Mabior Awikjok Bak,in a South Sudan court after being forcibly disappeared for over a year has brought attention to the need for reform within the National Security Service, or NSS. Human Rights Watch has been at the forefront, of the call for an end to the agency's arbitrary arrests and detentions of critics, activists, and civil society members. Nabeel Biajo spoke with the Africa Director of Human Rights Watch, Mausi Segun, in Abuja, Nigeria.
