South Sudan church concerned, calls for protection of civilians [2:46]

The Catholic Church in South Sudan's Western Equatoria State is expressing concern over the challenging security conditions in Tambura County. Bishop Eduardo Hiboro Kusala of Yambio Tambura Diocese is urging the government of South Sudan to ensure the protection of civilians and church personnel in Tambura County. Reverend Father Mark Kumbonyaki, Parish Priest of Saint Mary Catholic Church in Tambura, told VOA's John Tanza that one priest in charge of Nagero Parish has gone missing after being abducted by gunmen.
